Derek Anderson and the Arizona Cardinals were embarrassed on Monday Night Football last night by the San Francisco 49ers 27-6.

The real fireworks however were ingnited in the post game press conference when a reporter asked over and over why Anderson was caught on camera laughing in the 4th quarter with teammate Deuce Lutui.

Anderson snapped, got mad, cursed, before finally walking off the stage after the reporter kept pestering him about the laughing between Anderson and Lutui.

Anderson had said earlier that Lutui had said something to help keep him and the team positive.

Reporters often can cross a line or meander into parts of the game they really have no business asking about. Once Anderson made it clear he didn’t want to talk about the incident the reporter should have dropped it. No reason to embarrass Anderson any more after the 49ers did such a great job of doing just that during the game.

On the flip side, Anderson should have money for years to come once this ‘tirade’ is turned into a Coors Light TV commercial.

Anderson’s meltdown was the talk of the blogosphere immediately after the game, but there is not too much here in the long run. Anderson is a solid backup quarterback. He doesn’t deserve to be starting at this point in his career, but the Cardinals are just that bad at the QB position since the retirement of the legendary Kurt Warner.

Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom and reality television star Khloe Kardashian are getting married this weekend according to sources close to the couple.

One sister is pregnant, one is losing her infamous bootylicious behind with a reckless diet and the other is getting married!! It has been a crazy summer at the Kardashian household.

Odom and Kardashian have only been dating for a little bit over a month.  Lamar has often been cited for his impulsive decisions over the course of his up-n-down NBA career.  Khloe on the other hand has made a career of riding on the coattails of her star sister Kim Kardashian and others.  Beware Lamar!

Khloe has dated other pro athletes including Derrick Ward and Rashad McCants.
