After an intense courting, the San Francisco 49ers have finally signed Jim Harbaugh as their head coach for the next five years.  There will be a news conference today at 6:30PM EST, though the Niners didn’t specify the reason.

OrangeBloods.com Chip Brown is reporting (via tweet) the Pac-10 (the new Pac-12) will split the league into 2 new divisions (North and South) when Colorado and Utah join the league next year.
According to Brown the North Division will consist of Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Colorado, Washington, and Washington State.

The watered down Pac-10 will be changing its name next year to the Pac-12 with the new additions of Colorado and Utah.
