After an intense courting, the San Francisco 49ers have finally signed Jim Harbaugh as their head coach for the next five years.  There will be a news conference today at 6:30PM EST, though the Niners didn’t specify the reason.

Derek Anderson and the Arizona Cardinals were embarrassed on Monday Night Football last night by the San Francisco 49ers 27-6.
The real fireworks however were ingnited in the post game press conference when a reporter asked over and over why Anderson was caught on camera laughing in the 4th quarter with teammate Deuce Lutui.

ESPN is reporting that Brett Favre is on a plane to Minnesota, after a visit to Hattiesburg, Mississippi by teammates Jared Allen, Ryan Longwell, and Steve Hutchinson, and is likely to join the Minnesota Vikings in the next few days.
