Derrick Rose put the exclamation point on his MVP season last night when he stole the ball against the New York Knicks and drove down the court for a powerful, two-handed, double pump, reverse slam dunk.
Rose’s Chicago Bulls defeated the Knicks 103-90.
It is now the consensus of NBA experts that Rose will in fact be the MVP [...]

Carmelo Anthony had to love the welcome he received on Wednesday night in New York as the Knicks knocked off the Bucks 114-108.  But that doesn’t mean ‘Melo’s ready to put down roots in the Big Apple area.  According the the New York Post, the Knick’s newest superstar has decided to look for a nice, [...]

Before he even stepped foot on the basketball court, New York professed its undying – at the moment – love for Carmelo Anthony.  They held signs at the airport when he arrived, they stood and chanted “Stat and Melo” during pre-game warmups and they gave him a standing ovation as he was announced in the [...]

We might never fully know if the New Jersey Nets really wanted Carmelo Anthony or if they were just trying to make it more difficult for the New York Knicks to trade for him.

Fields disguises himself as regular Modell’s employee Leroy Jenkins, which makes one wonder why [...]

Despite sporting an 18-27 record, trailing the Eastern Conference leading Celtics by 17 games and firing their head coach Jim O’brien, the Indiana Pacers have decided to keep former Celtic great Larry Bird on as team president…at least until the end of the season.  Sports Illustrated reports:
Owner Herb Simon told The Associated Press on Tuesday [...]

Both teams came in hot, but it was the Lebron James infused Miami Heat – with a little help from Dwayne Wade – that got their 9th win in a row Monday when they beat the New Orleans Hornets 96-84.  The win puts the Heat one game shy of tying an NBA record for a [...]
