For four weeks the New Orleans Saints have been working out together as a team. Not just a few players here and there, a couple of days a week, but the majority of the team for a month straight. And not only that, they’ve also been raising money for charity on the side. Yahoo Sports [...]

It’s never hard to tell winners from losers. Winners compete…with others, with themselves, with adversity in whatever form. Losers act like they have absolutely no control over any given situation so they find it easier to just to give up. Drew Brees of the New Orlean Saints is definitely the former. Brees [...]

He also must perform 100 hours of community service and was ordered to pay $1.15 million in restitution for ripping off dozens of Texas residents in a real estate scam. According to [...]

The signs all point to a coaching move in the near future for the Saints’ Sean Payton. Payton recently purchased a home in the Dallas area, nowhere near his current coaching job in New Orleans. The saints issued a brief statement, however, regarding their belief that Payton will stay with the team:
“Sean Payton is the [...]

As fans, we’re always hoping our teams will gamble just at the right time. We’re constantly rooting for coaches to ‘go for it’ on 4th and short almost any time our favorite offense creeps over the other teams’ 50 yard line. It’s in our nature…we’re fans, as excited about the potential for championship glory as [...]

You know what they say. On any given Sunday…er, Saturday. Well, today was one of those days for the Seattle Seahawks. The 7-9 NFC West Champions were heavy underdogs to the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints (11-5), but today it didn’t matter. Seahawks 41, Saints 36.
Running back Marshawn Lynch, aka Beast Mode, ran [...]

This run is absolutely FILTHY. Definitely one of the best of the year, if not one of the top ten best of all time. Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch embarasses the entire New Orlean Saints defense, making 11 professionals look like a bad Division II team, and sealing a victory in the 2010 Wild Card [...]

Let’s take a moment to consider what might well be an unprecedented playoff scenario. On Sunday the San Francisco 49ers (5-9) travel to St. Louis (6-8) to play a tough-at-home Rams team still smarting from a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. If San Francisco loses, it will be eliminated from the playoffs with 10 [...]
