Veteran sportscaster Bob Costas interviewed the notorious Jerry Sandusky on Brian Williams’ Rock Center with Brian Williams tonight via phone while Sandusky’s attorney, Joseph Amendola, sat next to Costas.

In the video, Sandusky denies sexually abusing young boys. He hesitates when asked if he is sexually attracted to underage boys and tries to dance around it.

He said Paterno NEVER said a word to him about anything relating to him and young boys.

Sandusky told Costas, “No, I don’t think it’s my fault. I’ve obviously played a part in this.”

Sandusky says that the Mike McQueary’s accusation of him raping a 10-year old boy in the Penn State locker room shower is incorrect. Sandusky claims that him and the boy were just horsing around, slapping towels against each other.

Watch the video above!!

Last year, PETA made a Super Bowl advertisement featuring various semi-nude sexy models using fruits and vegetables in slightly more the sexually suggestive ways. Well, NBC told them no way. But, as they say, you can’t keep a good vegan down. Okay, so I’ve never actually heard that, but maybe it will catch on. Regardless, PETA is back with another Super Bowl Ad featuring the outtakes of last years work plus a little extra fun thrown in.

Special thanks to Hollywood Dame for finding this little morsel. If this video gets pulled by Youtube, you can also watch it there.

Enjoy. And whatever you do, for goodness’ sake don’t forget to eat your fruits and veggies.

It’s funny, really. When it comes to controversial issues like abortion, CBS doesn’t have a problem with airing advertisements. But where money is involved, all of a sudden CBS claims it “didn’t want to get involved” in the labor dispute between the NFL Players Association and the NFL – an organization with which it has a massive financial interest.

The ad was supposed to air on February 5th, according to a recent article in Advertising Age:

George Atallah, assistant executive director of external affairs for the Washington, D.C.-based NFL Players Association, said the union received word Friday that the network will not run the ad, which was scheduled to air during the NFLPA All-Star Game.”I tried to have my team contact CBS to try to understand exactly what happened, but apparently they said they didn’t want to get involved with the labor negotiations,” Mr. Atallah said. He noted that game organizers were told by Kim Niforos Bolan, VP-Programming for CBS College Sports Network, although it is unclear who at the network made the actual decision.

CBS is one of four networks that pay the NFL $4 billion a year to televise the league’s games. CBS, Fox, NBC and ESPN, as well as DirecTV, all agreed to pay the NFL in 2011 even if a lockout disrupts or cancels the season — a relationship that the NFLPA finds a little too cozy. In fact, the union filed suit against the league claiming the TV deals provide the owners with guaranteed payment even when no games are played, effectively purchasing “lockout insurance.”

The ad is part of an overall NFLPA campaign entitled “Let Us Play.” The union is using mostly social media for the effort — the 60-second spot was to be seen on TV only once as part of the Feb. 5 NFLPA All-Star Game on the CBS College Sports Network. The union has two minutes of commercial time as part of its contract with game organizers.

So, the NFLPA can’t run ads about the impending lockout on CBS, but when Nike and Sprite decided to run ads pleading for the season to start during the 1998-1999 NBA lockout, CBS seemed to have no problem with it. So, I guess the NFLPA just needs a couple of big corporate backers and the ads will be run. Right? Not quite.

It’s hard – really hard – to get worked up over a power struggle between millionaires and billionaires. But what CBS is doing is indicative of the struggle of real wage earners and consumers like the rest of us, when huge organizations like the NFL and a national network are in collusion. We, the people who buy the tickets and the merchandise and the all the advertised products, are caught in the middle. The only ones the really lose out in this are the fans.

Retired NFL player Rodney Harrison, who currently is an analyst on NBC Sunday Night Football, took an on-air shot at Buffalo Bills WR Terrell Owens when he described Owens as a:

“straight-up clown more interested in stats than winning.”

Owens wasted no time, immediately going to his Twitter account (@terrellowens) to call Harrison out on his use of steroids (actually busted/suspended for HGH use for the first four games in 2007 ). Owens took a tweet shot at Harrison last night and has continued non-stop all morning against Harrison, who won a NFL Super Bowl while a member of the New England Patriots.

Owens Tweets Hitting Harrison High and Hard:

I could less about Rodney Harrison! Anybody tht using steroids, yes STEROIDS rodney, is a cheater & cheated the game!

Is tht Y u used steroids b/c u were worried about ur stats or ws it b/c u were losing it? Lol! U’re a loser & a cheater? Got any steroids I cn borrow?

Hey rodney! Send me sum steroids 2 the Bills facility next week!

Since I kno the media reads my tweets, will sum1 ask rodney how long the cycles take b4 I feel results of the steroids whn he sends em? Lol!

So Rodney, I’m thinking if u overnite it 2day, I’ll get em by 2morr @ noon. Better yet, mark it Priority!! I “really” wanna b a CHAMPION like u!!

Hey Rodney if I really considered using them, could u please lv instructions on how & where 2 stick the needle just like u did 2 assure I do it rite!

My bad Rodney! I hv been corrected by ur supporters, u used HGH nt steroids! So, every1 go ahead & use HGH!! Geez, I guess tht makes it better 2 use!!

Harrison was voted the ‘dirtiest player’ in the NFL several times by fellow players in Sports Illustrated polls. He was suspended and fined several times for dirty and illegal hits on the field.

More power to Owens for busting Harrison’s chops. NBC is dumb for putting Harrison on the air. Harrison is an idiot for taking shots against active players. To me it breaks the player code a bit.

Owens might be goofy and an extremely selfish player, but no one can doubt his talent or achievements on the field over the years. He is a Hall-of-Famer and by all accounts has worked hard in the gym to sculpt his greek god-like body.

Harrison was a dirty player, cheating on the field and likely just as much off of it to obtain every advantage he could to dominate on it.

No way this saga is over yet. Stay tuned for updates from Owens and to see if Harrison gets in a rebuttal as well.
