Mike Tyson Angers PETA by Racing Pigeons on His Stupid Show

The truth is, I didn’t watch Mike Tyson’s show on Animal Planet. I don’t have to. I’m taking an very well educated guess that ‘dumb’ is a kind word to describe the program. Especially since Iron Mike, and/or his handlers, decided it would be a good to show competitive ‘pigeon racing’ on Animal Planet.

Well, I guess Animal Planet was okay with it. But PETA? Not so much. According to Celebrity-Gossip:

Having made its debut last night (March 6), “Taking on Tyson” features the boxer’s entry into competitive pigeon racing.

In the series, the former heavyweight champion – who has a lifelong affection for pigeons – puts together a team of veterans who compete to race the birds.

In response to the televised efforts, members of PETA are said to be planning to protest outside Tyson’s gated New Jersey Community.

One thing to jumps out about this out. How can a guy who owed tens of millions of dollars to the IRS and claimed to be flat broke a few years ago now live in a “gated New Jersey Community”.

Oh…right. New Jersey.

Great Funny or Die video starring Wayne Brady, Mike Tyson, and Bobby Brown. In the clip, Brady is having a dream that he is starring in the Bobby Brown hit song/video ‘Every Little Step.’

The funniest part of the dream sequence is that former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson is also a singer and dancer in the ‘Every Little Step’ video along with Brady and Bobby Brown.

Mix-master DJ Steve Porter is back with ‘Press Hop 2′ and the victims this time include LeBron James, Brett Favre, Tiger Woods, Chad Ochocinco, Mike Tyson, Bobby Knight, Allen Iverson, and others.

The stars/villians of the new mix are for sure LeBron and Tiger.

The chorus is naturally LeBron’s infamous line: “I’m gonna take my talents to South Beach!”

The mix video debuted on ESPN’s SportsNation.
