During an impressive NFL Network interview that may have just propelled Cam Newton to the #1 overall draft pick, the former Auburn quarterback let something slip. He mentioned, quite directly, that he’d met with the Dallas Cowboys on Friday night of the NFL Combine. He tried to deftly cover it up later in the interview, [...]

In other words, the Cowboys were not mistaken in the seating debacle that forced 1250 ticket holders to give up their seats at the Super Bowl. [...]

After Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV seating/ticket debacle, fans were not happy. In fact, they were so unhappy they decided to file suit against the NFL, Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones and company alleging fraud, deceptive sales practices and breach of contract. The Huffington Post reports that:
It was filed two days after fans were prevented from having [...]

Well, this is embarrassing. The NFL has sold more tickets than it can accommodate at the new Cowboys’ Stadium in Dallas. Apparently Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones didn’t have sufficient temporary seating available for the Big Game today. According to NBC Sports, a statement has been circulated that could keep several ticket holders from actually [...]

It’s been said many times. Former players don’t always make good coaches. Mike Singletary has been the poster boy for that sentiment this season in San Francisco. According to Sports Illustrated:
On Sunday night team president Jed York fired Singletary, the Hall of Fame linebacker who failed miserably to meet his standard of play [...]

Sports Illustrated is reporting what most fans probably thought happened weeks ago. The Dallas Cowboys have officially handed the team over to backup quarterback Jon Kitna by placing Tony Romo on injured reserve. The move ends Romo’s season, but no one actually paying attention thought he’d be back to lead the Cowboys in 2010 anyway.
Romo [...]

Boxing great Manny Pacquiao outlasted a resilient Antonio Margarito to win the Junior Middleweight Title on Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas by decision.
Manny won on all the judge’s scorecards by 120-108, 118-110, 119-109.
Most ringside and watching on pay-per-view had Manny winning all 12 rounds. However, Margarito was extremely tough and aggressive in constantly coming [...]
