Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III won the prestigious Heisman Trophy award today that is given to the nation’s best football player by the New York Downtown Athletic Club.
RG3, a junior at Baylor, completed 72% of his passes while throwing for 3,998 yards and 36 touchdowns.  He received 405 first place votes.
