South African golfer, Charl Schwartzel, has just won the 2011 Masters Tournament by 2 strokes with a birdie on the 18th hole. He, in fact, had 4 birdies in-a-row at the end and finished the tournament 14 under par. Oh, and it’s pronounced “Karl”, by the way.

It’s been an inauspicious start for the great Tiger Woods this year. In fact the AP reports that he’s just finished his “worst season debut” ever, coming off a 3 over par 75 performance at Torrey Pines. It officially ends his streak of 5 wins at that tournament:
