Donald Rumsfeld might not realize it, but he still wields a lot of influence years after leaving his post as Defense Secretary for the Bush Administration. And just recently, Rumsfeld may have just pointed his proverbial guns at the Oakland Raiders. According to the San Jose Mercury News:
Talking with the Financial Times on Super [...]

Owner Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys waited until 3 weeks before Super Bowl XLV to obtain seating permits that had been requested by the city 5 months earlier. In other words, the Cowboys were not mistaken in the seating debacle that forced 1250 ticket holders to give up their seats at the Super Bowl. [...]

After Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV seating/ticket debacle, fans were not happy. In fact, they were so unhappy they decided to file suit against the NFL, Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones and company alleging fraud, deceptive sales practices and breach of contract. The Huffington Post reports that:
It was filed two days after fans were prevented from having [...]

On Tuesday, the Green Bay faithful packed Lambeau Field to celebrate the return of the Lombardi Trophy to Titletown, USA. It was blisteringly cold but that did little to cool the spirits of 56,000 fans who honored their returning champion Packers from Dallas and a Super Bowl XLV victory. The New York Times reports:

You can’t make this stuff up. Fact is stranger than fiction. Whatever cliche’ you want to use, the fact is that sometimes weird stuff happens. For example, Vince Lombardi was arrested on Super Bowl Sunday. Not the legendary Packers coach. He’s dead. Nevertheless, according to the Bangor Daily News:
Earlier on Super Bowl Sunday, Ellsworth police [...]

This is what it looks like when a little bitty town wins the biggest championship in professional sports. It’s ridiculously cold, it’s snowy and the working class folk of Green Bay are taking time out from their jobs to greet their beloved Packers as they return from Dallas, TX…and an amazing win over the Pittsburgh [...]

It’s a difficult song to sing…for anyone. There’s no doubt about that. Vocalists commonly start the song in key that’s too low or too high. The changes in tone are deceptively hard and sometimes people find themselves screeching parts they haven’t properly practiced. And, on more than one occasion, singers flub the lines. But when [...]

Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy took what many would call a “calculated risk”. The truth is, it was downright ballsy. Eight days ago the head coach had his entire team fitted for Super Bowl rings; a move that – as far as anyone knows – was unprecedented. And his reasons for it were, well, [...]

They were a 3 point favorite all week long, but if you bet the Green Bay Packers to cover that spread, then happy drinking to you. The Packers have just won Super Bowl XLV by the score of 31-25 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s the 4th Super Bowl victory for Green Bay and the first [...]
