A picture is worth a thousand words, they say. If so, the good folks at the Kansas City Star should probably get some grief counseling. That, or someone in the advertising department is a Missouri fan.

ROCK CHOKE CHICKEN-HAWKS!
It wasn’t Bucknell or Butler or Richmond who choked the Kansas Jayhawks this time. However, it was another “little team that could” that caused the #1 team in the land to fall apart…again.
For the first time EVER, the Virginia Commonwealth Rams are going to the Final Four by beating the presumed unbeatable Kansas [...]

In the first few minutes, this contest was looking like an absolute laugher, although you’d have to be completely heartless not to feel a little pity for the Richmond Spiders as they were dismantled by the Kansas Jayhawks 77-57. The story of the game is quite simple. One Spider stat, says it all: 4-25 in [...]

Boston University played perhaps the best of any #16 seed the first two days of the tournament…at least in the first half against the top seeded Kansas Jayhawks on Friday.
The Terriers were only 33-29 at the half, but the depth of the Jayhawks along with poor 2nd half shooting by Boston led to a final [...]

Every year there’s another team in the Big Dance that we just can’t stand, and our reasons are not always logical. Sometimes it’s the mascot that rubs us the wrong way, or the fact that the entire team is populated by sophomores headed to the NBA in a few months. Whatever the reasons, there’s at [...]

It’s just a fact. In the Bill Self era, MU hoops simply can’t keep up with KU. There was a time back when Roy Williams wandered the sidelines that MU had a chance to upset the Big 8/12 giant here and there. Now, however, it’s like Self has the Tigers by the tail and there’s [...]

KU’s junior guard, Tyshawn Taylor has just been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, according to coach Bill Self.
“Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition,” Self said in a statement.

It’s only two games, but the No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes seem to be in free fall. After losing the #1 spot last weekend against the Wisconsin Badgers, they were poised to regain top spot after the other three top ranked teams lost this weekend. However, No. 11 Purdue had other plans. And those [...]
