So much for those who thought Duke would be a team of destiny.  The defending champs looked all but that against the #5 Arizona Wildcats.  The Duke Blue Devils looked rattled throughout the second half and had little-to-no answer for Arizona:

Now THAT is what March Madness is all about.  Down by 15 late in the game, the Michigan Wolverines proved they belonged in this NCAA Tournament by mounting an incredible near-comeback against the Duke Blue Devils.

#1 seed Duke Blue Devils had no time handling the #16 Hampton Pirates as they beat them 87-45 on Friday afternoon.
Kyrie Irving, back from injury, led Duke with 14 points. Andre Dawkins chipped in with 13.
Hampton had no one score in double figures or worthy of being noted here.

The AP’s Top 25 in Men’s hoops in out, and thanks to a loss by Ohio State to Wisconsin, the Kansas Jayhawks have taken the top spot.  According to SI, KU held the #1 position for 15 weeks last season and received 22 first place votes this week.
