It’s that time again. Time to say goodbye to the Madness by looking back on how we got to the NCAA National Championship Game, and celebrating all the highs and lows Luther Vandross style.

So here it is, in all its splendor and glory: “One Shining Moment” 2011. I especially enjoy the healthy dose [...]

When two big dogs collide in the NCAA National Championship Game, like the Butler Bulldogs and Connecticut Huskies did on Monday night, you should have known it would be some intense, ugly, junkyard dog basketball, and it was exactly that in the first half.
The UConn Huskies won the game 53-41 to become the 2011 NCAA [...]

In case you missed it, the VCU Rams and the Butler Bulldogs just played one of the most exciting games of the 2011 NCAA Tournament.  Unfortunately for the Rams, Butler is heading to the National Championship Game for the second year-in-a-row after finishing strong to beat VCU 70-62

Butler’s Andrew Smith made a layup [...]

They opened up today as a #8 seed playing against the #9 seed Old Dominion Monarchs.
Butler came out ice cold in the first half, shooting just 37% and [...]

Butler Bulldogs guard/forward Gordon Hayward who led the mid-major Bulldogs to the NCAA Championship basketball game against Duke earlier this month has declared for the NBA Draft according to his father.
His father says he won’t hire an agent.   Hayward will then have until May 8th to remove his name from the Draft and return [...]

The last few minutes of the amazing 2010 NCAA Men’s Championship game between Butler and Duke. Fast forward the above video to the 1:35 mark to see Butler’s Matt Howard’s PUNISHING screen he put on Duke’s Kyle Singler as Howard’s teammate Gordon Hayward attempted a half-court hail mary that barely missed.
Duke won the game [...]
