Perhaps it was the relief he felt after his Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA Playoffs – a feat he and his former team never accomplished.  But Lebron James finally decided to apologize to his hometown of Cleveland.  Well, sort of.  He apologized for how it happened but [...]

Tuesday night, Lebron James missed the starting lineup introductions for his Miami Heat.  The Heat was about to play the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland.  It was the second time James would be introduced in Cleveland since he left to play for the Heat.  The second time, that is, if he hadn’t been hiding out in [...]

The Los Angles Clippers have traded PG Baron Davis to the Cleveland Cavaliers for combo guard Mo Williams according to Yahoo!’s Marc J. Spears.
UPDATE: David Aldridge is reporting that the deal also includes the Clippers #1 draft pick in 2011 going to the Cavs along with Baron in exchange Williams and Jamario Moon.
Remember Mo cried [...]

All good things must come to an end.  At least, that’s what I heard.  Saturday night, the Cavs ended their historic losing streak of 26 games in a row.  They found a way to beat the LA Clippers in OT by the score of 126-119.  Now, instead of being a team that was the best [...]

Now, there’s a kind of magic about it.  Instead of viewing it with disdain or contempt, some us are cheering it on.  It’s a ride few of us will ever experience, probably not more than once in a lifetime.  Sure, there was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  They were truly awful, at one point losing 26 [...]

As we reported a few days ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been chasing history.  Not in the inspired sense, the kind that shows little boys and girls around the world what they can achieve if they work for it.  And not in the glorious way that the greats can lift us mere mortals above the [...]

No matter how one may choose to spin the facts, the Cleveland Cavaliers suck.  But it doesn’t end there.  Not only do the Cavs suck, but they are challenging past bottom feeders of the NBA for the title of the “Suckiest Bunch of Sucks that Ever Sucked.”  At least for a single season.
Cleveland has just [...]

It is the season that never seems to end.  There are only 80 games per team, but the post-season in the NBA makes it seem like 160.  So how do good NBA teams keep up their hot runs or bad teams find the the will to get off the snide?  Nobody really knows.  Again, it’s [...]

Both teams came in hot, but it was the Lebron James infused Miami Heat – with a little help from Dwayne Wade – that got their 9th win in a row Monday when they beat the New Orleans Hornets 96-84.  The win puts the Heat one game shy of tying an NBA record for a [...]

LeBron James in the recent (Sep 2010) issue of GQ opened up somewhat about a return to play for Cleveland, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, and the happiness in his face since bolting the Cavs for the Miami Heat.
The article by J.R. Moehringer didn’t reveal anything earth shattering but here is what King James had to [...]
