Veteran sportscaster Bob Costas interviewed the notorious Jerry Sandusky on Brian Williams’ Rock Center with Brian Williams tonight via phone while Sandusky’s attorney, Joseph Amendola, sat next to Costas.

In the video, Sandusky denies sexually abusing young boys. He hesitates when asked if he is sexually attracted to underage boys and tries to dance around it.

He said Paterno NEVER said a word to him about anything relating to him and young boys.

Sandusky told Costas, “No, I don’t think it’s my fault. I’ve obviously played a part in this.”

Sandusky says that the Mike McQueary’s accusation of him raping a 10-year old boy in the Penn State locker room shower is incorrect. Sandusky claims that him and the boy were just horsing around, slapping towels against each other.

#LSU QB Jordan Jefferson has been “implicated as being involved” in a violent night of activity Thursday at Shady’s Bar right off campus.

Sgt. Don Stone of the Baton Rouge Police Department media relations office confirmed the #LSU QB’s involvement, but said…

..the ongoing investigation has not revealed yet whether #LSU’s senior signal-caller is a suspect or a victim.

Stone said four people were taken for medical care after the fight was broken up, but Jefferson was not among them. #LSU

The BRPD spokesman also said that there was not a vehicular assault involved as has been rumored. #LSU

Atlanta Hawks legend basketball player Dominique Wilkins was attacked by a crazed fan following the Hawks game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in Atlanta according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution .

“The fan was promptly arrested and was taken into custody by the Atlanta Police Department,” Hawks spokesman Arthur Triche said in a statement to the AJC. “At this time theHawks have no additional information or comment regarding this situation.”

Wilkins, in the Basketball Hall of Fame, appeared uninjured.

The police have not released the name of the suspect or his motive for attacking Wilkins at this time.

Dominique’s defense must have really improved from his playing days or else the police were quickly on top of the situation.

UPDATE: Sekou Smith is now tweeting that Nique landed three solid blows. His attack failed to connect.  The worse part? This was the most exciting moment for the Hawks in the past month.

The man who attacked Wilkins has been identified as Rashan S. Michel, a former referee. Michel has claimed that Wilkins owes him money.

Police were called after a bystander saw Rose’s Cadillac Escalade drive off the side of the road.

Police said Rose was not hurt but refused to take a breathalyzer at the scene and was taken to Henry Ford Hospital hospital for a blood test.Police have not released the results of the blood test.

Rose was cited for Driving Under the Influence.  The arrest took place in West Bloomfield, Michigan on March 11, 2011.

On a side note, I met Jalen and his son coming off a water slide at Atlantis in the Bahamas about six years ago. Jalen was very friendly and bowed up for a great photo.

Kentucky Wildcats

ABC 36 News has learned that UK quarterback Mike Hartline has bonded out of jail after being arrested overnight.

The 22-year-old Hartline was arrested following an incident on Crescent Avenue.

This will become interesting as more details emerge.  Will Joker Phillips suspend Hartline for the Wildcats’ bowl game?

A Hattiesburg police spokesperson said an altercation took place inside the Hunt Club off Highway 49 around 1:20 a.m. which then moved outside of the night club where one person opened fire injuring three.

Southern Miss has declined comment. The conditions of the players has been described as critical.

Coach Larry Fedora, staff, and team members have been spotted at Forrest General Hospital since early Sunday morning.

The Golden Eagles won at Central Florida yesterday 31-21.  They are now 7-3 and 4-2 in CUSA play.

VaNeisha Richardson claims that LeBron James manager and best friend Maverick Carter falsely imprisoned her while physically and psychologically damaging her while stealing back a necklace pendant that Richardson had bought at a yard sale.

Maverick claims the pendant is his and that it was lost or stolen.

But in the suit, filed in Ohio, Robinson claims Carter concocted a diabolical plan to lure her into his home, insisting that LeBron would be present to make a deal — instead, she claims, a horde of 8 or 9 people held her in the house against her will and forced her to give up the bling.

Richardson wants the pendant back along with $50,000 from Carter from him robbing, imprisoning her, and the psychological damage.

The pendant is worth roughly $10,000.

Revis was traveling 81 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone, according to the Municipal Court in Livingston, where the ticket was issued. Since Revis was allegedly traveling more than 40 mph over the posted speed limit, the tickets are not payable and he’ll have to appear in court, according to the Municipal Court administrator.

That appearance is currently scheduled for Nov. 4 at 9 a.m. — though he would waive the first appearance if he hired an attorney.

There is no way around it. Revis has been a bust, distraction, and hurt the Jets and his teammates since holding out.  It doesn’t help that nearly every WR has burned Revis at some point this season, in the few games he’s played in.

Deadspin is reporting that Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones was arrested in Cincinnati today after the Bengals loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“the car [Pacman Jones] was driving was forced off the road and onto the sidewalk by another car. As a result Jones apparently hit a pedestrian.

“According to witnesses at the scene no one was injured but Jones was seen in handcuffs and later was taken away in a Cincinnati police car.”

If that is how it actually went down then it sounds like Pacman didn’t do anything truly illegal this time.  If witnesses can corroborate  the series of events then Pacman should be free and clear.

Minnesota Vikings

‘Mandy’ just claims Favre ogled her (some word cousin of Google i assume, jk) while claiming that the other massage therapist ‘Lindsay’ gave Brett her phone number.

Lindsay received a text message from Favre, according to Mandy. Lindsay assumed it was for a massage but quickly realized Brett was asking for more. He invited both Lindsay and Mandy back to his hotel room. Mandy claims that the texts became increasingly inappropriate (”just nasty stuff”), but she adds that Brett did apologize when he found out she was married.

Lindsay’s husband did blow a gasket when he found out according to ‘John,’ the husband.

“I called him on his phone and told him I wanted an apology. He acted all arrogant. He refused to apologize,” John tells me in a phone conversation.

Mandy and John say they approached attorneys about the situation but were told that because Mandy was a private contractor, there were no grounds for a harassment case. They didn’t pursue anything.

John, the money-opportunist, obviously is the one that leaked the story to Deadspin.  Is there validity to it or is it just a horny old man trying to get a ‘happy ending?’
