Minnesota Vikings star running back, Adrian Peterson, is not happy with his employers or their lockout. In fact, he’s so angry that in a recent interview he compared playing for NFL owners to “modern day slavery”. Of course, this comment needs some context. But Peterson’s words, however ill-advised, were telling.

It looks like Brett Favre will start Monday night against the Chicago Bears at TCF Bank Stadium. That’s according to ESPN. In other bad news, Adrian Peterson – the Vikings’ best player – is out. Unless Favre reverts to form circa 2009, this is gonna be one long night for men in purple.

The fans have spoken, and potential MVP candidates Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots are currently ranked 1 and 2 respectively in Pro-Bowl fan voting. USA Today reports that Vick has received 981,687 votes while Brady is tops in the AFC with 947, 194.
