Jenn Sterger to Appear on Good Morning America in First Interview Since Brett Favre ‘Sexting’ Scandal (PHOTOS)
Former Brett Favre obsession, Jenn Sterger, is out of work and out of money. She needs some exposure. So she’s scheduled to appear on Good Morning America this week. According to USA Today:
ABC spokeswoman Alyssa Apple confirmed to USA TODAY’S Game On! that Sterger will appear with anchor George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America morning show this week. The two-part interview will air Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sterger catapulted into the headlines after Deadspin.com reported she received suggestive voicemails, emails and photos from Favre while he was quarterbacking the New York Jets and she was working as as on-air game days hostess.
Now, is this a fair assessment of her situation. Maybe, maybe not. She claims the Favre ’sexting’ scandal in which she received pictures of the the soon-to-be Hall of Famer’s privates ruined her media and modeling career. However, in a world where the likes of Kim Kardashian can turn a sex tape into fame and fortune, how hard can it be for Sterger to put Favre’s untoward advances behind her and get on with her career?
The mere fact that she used to cover Jet’s games in a low cut, far too small, Jet’s tee already disqualifies her from serious media consideration…at least in this country. You don’t see Michelle Beadle on the cover of Maxim or in tiny, cleavage bearing half-shirts for a reason. She has actual media talent and skill. If being an actual part of the sports media were important to Sterger, she would have gotten a degree in journalism and worked her way through some sort of news organization. Instead, she let her boob job do the talking. So, what did she expect?
Was being the subject of Favre’s lechery fair? Of course not. However, Sterger put herself out there to be a Maxim model, not a serious journalist. To claim that her ‘career’ was ruined because of some nasty pictures sent via cell phone is disingenuous at best.
