Kentucky Escapes Princeton on Brandon Knight’s Last Second Layup

The entire state of Kentucky was almost in mourning until Kentucky Wildcats point guard Brandon Knight made a layup with 2 seconds left to avoid the upset to the #13 seed Princeton Tigers.  The final score was 59-57.

Knight was 0-7 shooting until hitting his only shot, the last  shot of the game, for the win.

The Wildcats were led by senior Josh Harrellson who finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds.  He was 7-8 from the field.  Kentucky as a team shot 51% for the game.

The Louisville (KY) Cardinals had already been upset earlier in the day by Morehead State.
