The Memphis Grizzlies, who traded dead-weight center Hasheem Thabeet to the Rockets just minutes ago, have now traded troubled backup shooting-guard O.J. Mayo to the Indiana Pacers for power forward Josh McRoberts and a 1st round draft pick.
UPDATE: HOLD THE MAYO – O.J. trade to the Pacers came after the trade deadline buzzer and will not go through.
UPDATE 2: Supposedly the Grizzlies actually pulled out at the last minute. So we therefore don’t have an illegitimate trade.
UPDATE 3: Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley says, “Indiana was not able to get it all together.”
