Washington Huskies, and former USC Trojans assistant coach, Steve Sarkisian laid into former Trojans stud Reggie Bush for how he gave back his Heisman Trophy this week but offered no apology to go with it.
“He had a chance to apologize, look like the good guy,” Sarkisian told ESPN’s Shelly Smith. “But in giving it back and not apologizing, he just looks like an idiot again.”
Sark was an offensive coach at USC in 2005 when Bush won the Heisman in a landslide over Texas Longhorns quarterback Vince Young.
The Heisman trust decided, also this week, that the award would not be re-gifted to Young but would instead remain vacated.
