Washington Nationals rookie phenom Stephen Stasburg is on the cover of the new Sports Illustrated. The caption to the right of the cover photo states: “TWO GAMES, TWO WINS, 22 STRIKEOUTS.”
Strasburg is off to an amazing start to his upstart career after his first two starts. His debut was off the charts against the Pirates. He was less dominant but still good against the Indians on Sunday – but then again we are talking about the Pirates and Indians. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the Yankees, Red Sox, Rays, and other top tier teams.
Will the SI cover jinx nab Strasburg?
