The last few minutes of the amazing 2010 NCAA Men’s Championship game between Butler and Duke. Fast forward the above video to the 1:35 mark to see Butler’s Matt Howard’s PUNISHING screen he put on Duke’s Kyle Singler as Howard’s teammate Gordon Hayward attempted a half-court hail mary that barely missed.
Duke won the game 61-59 over the Bulldogs. Singler was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
That was absolutely brutal and wouldn’t have been out of place in a hockey rink.
