West Virginia Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins, in one of the most touching and emotional moments in Final Four history, went all ‘Huggy-Bear’ on injured Mountaineers guard DaSean Butler when he injured his knee in the second half of a blow out loss to the Duke Blue Devils.
Butler was whithering in pain when Huggins came over to him, mounted him, and consoled his star player. Huggins has always had a close relationship with his player, and he has seemed extremely close to Butler throughout this season.
The injury seems less serious than originally thought. Butler by all accounts will be a first round pick in the June NBA Draft.
UPDATE: Butler has been diagnosed with a torn ACL.
[often misspelled as DeSean Butler]

He was “writhing” in pain, not whithering.
