In honor of the retro uniforms that the NFL often uses, I think Major League Baseball needs to honor some of their past uniforms…….but probably not the Colt 45’s. The Houston Astros were originally called the Colt 45’s,until a new owner and a new ballpark came along. The new domed park, built in 1965,was named the Astrodome in honor of the local space program and the team followed suit by changing their name, which by now, if they had kept it, would have probably gone the way of the Washington Bullets in these sensitive times.
